The end of an era • By 2000, Foden was selling fewer and fewer lorries and its range was limited to the Alpha models, which featured the ‘hand-me-down’ DAF CF Cab. Nevertheless, in its final, Mk 2, guise, it was a damn good truck, says Pip Dunn.
