MURDER IN THE PLACE OF LONGING
Springtime on Páros. Life flows quietly and peacefully. Christína Strátou, who resumes her service with the Greek police after a few years' hiatus, discovers the body of a young woman during a hike. Despite the remote location, she feels as though she is being watched. The colleagues at the Páros police quickly focus on a crime of jealousy, especially since the deceased woman's husband has disappeared without a trace. Christína does not believe in this motive. The clues seem to fit together too easily. The lead investigator dismisses her objections and keeps her away from the ongoing investigation. She conducts her own inquiries and reaches very different conclusions. For her, the husband is not the main suspect but the most important witness. Soon, she is on the trail of the truth. Then, a mysterious woman appears, and suddenly, it is unclear who is the hunter and who is the hunted. As the policewoman is on the verge of solving the case, she puts herself in great danger. Can Christína be saved, or will she also pay with her life?
